Join the "Fill-a-bus" tour to Washington DC to participate in the Arctic Action Day on Sept. 20th to Protect the Arctic National Wildlife RefugeWe need you to join us in Washington DC, on September 20th for the Arctic Action Day to save the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. We're all going to show the US House and the Senate that the American people will never accept oil rigs in our Arctic Refuge — come help us carry the message!
Departs Sept. 19 (time TBD), returns Sept 20/Sept. 21 (time TBD). A small charge per person for bus, gas, and lodging (Sierra Club may help with this).
What: A demonstration of our desire to keep America's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge drilling-free, followed by a lobby blitz on Capitol Hill.
Who: Everyone who wants to see Americas Arctic Refuge cared for and passed intact to our future generations, not exploited for short-term profit!
When: Tuesday, September 20, 2005, 11 a.m.
Where: West Lawn of the Capitol
