Winterizing for Water Quality Workshop
Attend and receive a free winter water quality care kit!Learn simple actions we can take this Fall and Winter to reduce our impact on water and conserve energy. Enjoy a short presentation on these easy tips, discuss community efforts to improve water, and share refreshments together. We'll be giving out winter water quality care kits that include items like samples of turkey grit (sidewalk salt alternative), native plant seeds, a checklist for energy conservation, as well as other items.

Help us get the word out! Our fun phone nights to contact members and invite them to these events include free pizza! All phone nights are held at the Sierra Club Office, 2327 E.Franklin Ave. Contact Cesia (pronounced "saysha") Kearns at 612-659-9124 or email to sign up for one of these nights. (You can also personally arrange 1 or 2 hours at other times to volunteer.)
