Join us! Help us continue to cut, poison and pull this invasive shrub to make way for a healthy habitat of native vegetation.
LEARN to identify buckthorn and get rid of it in your own yard.
WORK at pulling small seedlings, cutting shrubs, spraying stumps or dragging branches to the street. All ability levels are welcome, but because sharp tools and chemicals will be used, small children should remain at home.
MEET at the Community Center Picnic Pavilion. Refreshments will be provided by Caribou Coffee and the Shoreview Garden Club.
WEAR work gloves, sun protection and protective shoes and socks.
