News Flash - First Test Drive!

On May 20, 2008 at a secret location in the north woods of Minnesota, the Volt Vette Project reached a major milestone.
At about 2:00 pm, the red Corvette took its first test drive. Because the team is still waiting for the car’s 156 volt battery charger, the test drives had to be kept short to keep the 910 pound battery pack from being drained.
With the completion of Phase One, the Vette was shipped back to the city for further testing.
