Sierra Club Endorsements in Minneapolis
It is election season again in Minneapolis and we are excited to endorse candidates who we believe have the best combined grasp of issues, enthusiasm, and ability to talk with our neighbors about our shared values. In short, they will be the strongest advocates for clean air and water, greener government, vibrant neighborhoods and world-class parks.
To paraphrase Ward 2 City Council Candidate Cam Gordon: There's no reason we should just follow cities like Seattle, Portland and Vancouver when Minneapolis can and should be the leader in environmental sustainability.

A Few Ways to Lend a Hand:

- Go door knocking with your favorite candidate. It's FUN, no experience is necessary, and campaigns provide all materials and assistance.
- Make phone calls with fellow volunteers.
- Make a financial contribution to your campaign/s of choice.

About our endorsement process:
Candidates were selected by two Sierra Club committees: the Minneapolis Political Committee and the Executive Committee, the elected governing body of the Sierra Club North Star Chapter which has final authority over endorsement decisions. A two thirds vote by each committee is required to endorse.
The Sierra Club is a non-partisan organization.
