along County Road 81.
Cedar Avenue Corridor
22-mile busway and bus rapid transit service from the Mall of America
to Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley and Lakeville along Cedar Avenue,
I-35E, and I-35.
Central Corridor
11-mile transit line connecting downtown Saint Paul to downtown Minneapolis
along University Avenue
- Major attractions: downtown Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, the Midway district, the State Capitol, downtown St. Paul and many neighborhoods in-between
- It will connect to the existing Hiawatha line at the Metrodome station and terminate at the new Minneapolis multimodal station that will also serve the new Northstar commuter rail line.
Hiawatha Light Rail Transit
12 miles, passing through downtown Minneapolis, Minneapolis/St. Paul
International Airport and the Mall of America in Bloomington
Northstar Commuter Rail
The Northstar Corridor runs 40 miles from the Big Lake area to downtown
Minneapolis along Highway 10, rail stations will be located in
Minneapolis, Coon Rapids, Anoka, Elk River, Fridley and Big Lake
Red Rock Commuter Rail
30 mile transportation corridor from Hastings through downtown St. Paul
and on to downtown Minneapolis. The corridor is roughly
parallel to Trunk Highway 61 and Interstate 94
- Connection to Hiawatha, Northstar and Central Corridors.
Rush Line Commuter Rail
The 80-mile Rush Line Corridor begins at Minnesota's Union Depot in
downtown St. Paul and generally follows Highway 61 and Interstate
35/35E north through Ramsey, Anoka, Washington, Chisago and Pine
counties to Hinckley
Southwest Light Rail Transit
14-mile light rail corridor extending southwest from downtown Minneapolis
through Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Minnetonka, and Eden Prairie.
I-35W Busway
A 20-mile busway running from Lakeville to downtown Minneapolis through
Burnsville, Bloomington, and Richfield
