There are many things that you and your family can do to protect and improve water quality. Now is the time to participate in and support storm water programs of government and non-profit organizations, and also understand that individual actions are important too.
Clear debris from storm water sewers, use mulch and plants to hold the soil, and be sure that your property retains all rainwater that lands on it by routing it into garden areas. Significant results can be achieved only by working together and changing the behaviors of many people, businesses, and farms.
