Northern Dakota County Sierra Club

Since 2005, neighbors in West St. Paul, Mendota Heights, Inver Grove Heights, Rosemount and Eagan have been working to support a proposal for light rail transit (LRT) serving Dakota County. Light rail builds businesses, strengthens communities, reduces traffic congestion and decreases air pollution that contributes to global warming.

In 2008, we are continuing to promote light rail and the Robert Street Transit Corridor Study while also building support for local solutions to global warming. Read more about the Cool Cities campaign here: http://www.coolcities.us.
