Description
This trip is great for rec kayaks 12’ and longer, sea kayaks and tandem canoes. We’ll paddle the backwaters of the Mississippi near Fountain City and Trempealeau and have lunch on a sandbar. Paddlers should be comfortable with big water since we’ll be crossing the main channel. We’ll complete a loop, so all paddlers need to have enough stamina to paddle against the current.
