Description

Plan on meeting at the main entrance to the Conservatory at 10:30am. We start with an introduction to the new wing and the impact on the Japanese Garden by Jennifer Downhan, Director of Giving for Como Park. Following her presentation, we will go to one of the nice park tables on the grounds and enjoy the company of each other. Please plan on bringing a bag lunch. Marcia and I will bring some coffee and tea to share. We will also have an optional picnic site in the event of rain.

Following lunch, we can attend the 2pm talk by a Gardner (a daily event at Como). Or you can just enjoy the new exhibits: The Polar Exhibit is especially interesting.
