The Greatest Generation - Step inside the lives of the greatest generation: the Depression, the War, the Boom! From a historic soda counter to a real 1950s Ford. Board a C-47 war plane for an immersion in the sights and sounds of D Day. For some OWLS this was your life.
Meet at the entry area at 9:45am for a guided tour. Price is $8 per person which includes the entry fee payable to Dean Honetschlager. Please call Dean or Mary Ann at (651)433-3795 for reservations. We have guaranteed and perpaid for 15 participants, so bring friends and relations to reach the goal. Parking available at the Center’s lot and handicapped parking on the street near the entrance. 12:00pm lunch can be purchased at the innovative self serve Cafe MN, or bring a bag lunch.
After the tour, be sure to visit the informative and eye opening new exhibit, The U.S. Dakota War of 1862. Also, after lunch visit the gift shop and bookstore.
