Biking, hiking, camping, canoeing, skiing - whatever you like to do outdoors - there are other Sierrans who enjoy it, too. Come along just for the fun of it, or to learn (first aid, wilderness skills), or to lead adventures of your own. Non-members welcome! For monthly updates on outings, subscribe to eOutings.

Write to Your Editor
Letters to the Editor are one of the most widely read sections of the newspaper. They are a quick, effective and continuing means of communicating your message to a wide audience. Letters can correct and clarify facts, oppose or support actions of an official agency, and urge readers to support your cause. We give you letter tips and editor addresses.
Contact Your Elected Officials
Let your local, state and federal leaders know how you feel, whether it's to encourage them to represent your views, or to thank (or chastise) them for their votes on a particular issue.
